York County Tourism Grant Program - Fueling York County's Tourism Industry
The York County Tourism Grant Program supports initiatives aimed at boosting York County's billion-dollar tourism industry. This program provides funding for projects and events designed to attract visitors from outside a 50-mile radius promoting economic growth through increased overnight hotel stays. So far this year, the Tourism Grant Program has awarded $561,648 to fund 19 projects designed to elevate York County's status as a leading tourist destination. Discover Hanover®, the Chamber's tourism and community brand, received generous funding from the York County Tourism Grant Program in 2024. This enabled Discover Hanover® to undergo a complete rebrand and launch a new website, enhancing its appeal to visitors and promoting Hanover as a premier destination in York County.
The new website was unveiled at the Explore York membership mixer on May 23. The Chamber is excited to embark on this new chapter for Discover Hanover® and to witness what benefits the brand will bring to Hanover and York County.
