Little Fox Coffee & Books

Little Fox Coffee & Books may be new to Hanover, but they set up shop in a beloved location. Little Fox now resides in the old church that was the former home of Reader’s Café. The owners, hailing from Seattle, preserved the charm of the space while making it their own cozy coffee and book shop. They proudly serve coffee from Seattle, carefully selected by the husband-and-wife duo who own the shop. There are a variety of coffee flavors and types to choose from and an abundance of books.

With 3locations, it’s easy to stop in and grab a coffee from Britton Coffee Co.! Family-owned and operated, Britton Coffee Co. is known in the community for serving up their creative coffee creations and they are always trying something new. Plus, each location offers something different. For example, the McSherrystown location serves up some delicious donuts!

The Spot, also new to Hanover, hosts The Acai Spot and Bistro 17331. You can tell just from the pictures hung in their store, they love to have fun with their coffee creations, Though the cold weather will be creeping in, is it really ever too cold to enjoy a frappe? Bistro 17331 creates fun frappes with a ton of toppings. However, if you are seeking a hot drink, their hot coffees and lattes are equally as delectable.
Ghouls and Grinds

Ghouls and Grinds, just as the name suggests, is a great place to stop by if you enjoy the Halloween theme. Though the keep the spooky theme year-round, fall is their time to shine. Recently, they have been testing out their new Halloween and fall flavors. These include an Edgar Allen Poe themed drink, a Pumpkin-Mallow latte, and they are experimenting with a caramel popcorn latte as well! To really embrace the spooky side of fall, stops over at one of Ghouls and Grinds’ locations!
Merlin’s Coffee

Merlin’s Coffee is a small coffee shop that is just a short walk from the Hanover square. Merlin’s coffee boasts a cozy-feel, unique décor, and a variety of premium coffee beans that can be purchased, ground in store, and taken home with you.
And if you love cats, this coffee shop is the place for you. They have a large collection of cat-décor and some of the coffee bean names are cat-themed.

The Hanover area has been blessed with several new coffee shops. The newest on that list is Coffee & Crumbs which is located in Abbottstown. With their coffee, they are serving up delicious baked goods including daily, fresh donuts and Robin’s Nest coffee cake.
Their bio on social media reads that they are passionate about creating the perfect cup of coffee. There’s only one way to find out if this is true… stop by and grab a cup!
